Review: It took me years to get around to creating baby books for each of my children. Now I am glad that it did! For ~$41 I made an 81 page book, using about 300 pictures from the first year of life. I cannot imagine doing that with paper scrapbooking methods!! Not to mention that with digital photo-booking, you can zoom and crop to your heart's content to optimize the layout. This would be so expensive to do on any other website. I probably would only make one per year. With artscow's frozen photobook pricing for the next 2 years, I can make and order them just as fast as I can design them!!.
Pros: My 81 page book arrived 1 week after I was notified that it had shipped!! There are TONS of free scrapbook kits that are fabulous. I love having so many choices for backgrounds and text etc.
Cons: There is a little bit of a learning curve to figure out how to quickly create a photobook in the designer. More tutorials would be useful for beginners. (That being said, once you learn how, ArtsCow is far more versatile than Shutterfly-type websites. You have WAY more options.).
Bottom Line: I LOVE ARTSCOW! I have made ~20 books over the last five years and my kids LOVE to look at them. I don't have to worry about damage because, worst case scenario, I can print another one for $5-10 bucks in most cases. That means we get A LOT more use out of our books than we would if I had made paper scrapbooks. Those would be irreplaceable and probably spend more time being guarded on a bookshelf instead of being looked at.
